Pond News:
The Master Association has spent over $20,000 over the last two years on improvements to our pond, specifically the expenditures have been as follows

2017:
  • Dredging muck from the bottom of the pond to create a depth of 13 feet around the fountains;  and deposit the muck into the large canvas bag                                    $9725
2018:
  • Added two new diffusers to augment the two fountains; the diffusers will run all winter long to help aerate the water.                                                                       $5100
  • Added a maintenance package to control algae                 $3800
  • Sediment bag was removed                                            $5200
Proposed 2019 Budget:
The largest expense by far in the Master budget is for Comcast cable bundle provided to each unit.  The Board has analyzed the value of the service, and determined that it is a very good value for the Community.

Misc:

Village-Owned Tree Replacement:
Due to the number of trees removed because of the emerald ash borer infestation, and the cost of tree replacement, the Reforestation Plan will likely take 3-4 years.
